Guest Feedback

“You can expect a very well presented and well-equipped house, set well back from the road and surrounded by large trees the house and garden feel very private and spacious. Inside the house, you'll find everything you need in a very cosy but spacious property. You can walk into town in about 15 minutes and you have a co-op within 2 minutes walk. Andrew and Leigh were both very responsive and helpful. Andrew didn't have a problem with us arriving very late and still had a smile on his face when he greeted us. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would certainly book again.”

“Leigh’s property was perfect for a family short holiday. The house is spacious, clean and modern. the pool and the hot tub are amazing. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend.”

“We had a wonderful mid week stay. The Thatched Cottage is beautiful with spacious and immaculate rooms. High points were the HUGE lounge sofas, gorgeous big bath tub in the master suite, and the built in coffee maker that uses beans, Waitrose is only a mile away so we had lovely Taylor’s of Harrogate coffee whenever we wanted. There is a large garden with great facilities we loved the hot tub and our dog loved the large garden to race around in.”

“The place is great and the location is brilliant for getting around the local area. The hosts are friendly and the local taxi company’s know Leigh when you call so that helps. The house is beautiful, with all the mod cons and is clean and warm. The only comment we would say is for a simple guide on how to use the more fancy utilities such as the hot tub, and the inbuilt coffee machine. A simple “how to” would just allow guests to get the absolute maximum out of the property. All messages were responded to quickly and Stanley the grounds keeper is very friendly. The place is fantastic and we would love to come back in the future.”

“This is a stunning house in a fantastic location. The character of the rooms is still there even with all the modern fittings and luxuries - a wonderful combination of old and new! Close to Lymington centre and the heart of the new forest - we had everything on our doorstep. Leigh was also a very accommodating host - we had a super holiday!”

“This is a stunning property and a great space for a large group to spend a fabulous weekend/week together. The hot tub helped ease us into the weekend and the New Forest is simply a stunning place to walk and explore. The large dinning room and even larger sitting room were excellent social places for the entire group. We even managed a yoga session in the sitting room. The kitchen is high spec and everything you would expect from your own home. Large enough to cook and chat. Fabulous memories and certainly worth a return visit for that special occasion. Outstanding.”
